For adults ages 60 and older, our Senior Center has it all, a Wellness Center and fitness programs exclusively for older adults, pickleball courts, ongoing social activities and classes, homemade lunches each week and the opportunity for group day trips and longer travel expeditions.

Amenities

Fitness Center

Our senior-specific Fitness Center includes equipment geared toward our members, including both traditional and recumbent treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationary bicycles, as well as weight machines, free-weights, and a total-stretching area. Senior fitness trainers and programmers are available to show members proper use of equipment.
Enrichment Room

Our Enrichment Room features space available for crafting and learning new skills. This room hosts a majority of our enrichment classes, such as painting, drawing, language, and other educational offerings.
Billiards Room

Our Billiards Room includes four pool tables, flat-screen televisions, and plenty of space for socializing in between games. The room is host to both structured pool leagues and drop-in play for members.
Library + Chat Room

Our Library includes a wide collection of gently-used books of all genres. Members can check-out the books or stay and read, as well as enjoy a board game, cards, or simply chat in a comfortable space. The room also features a computer station with computers that are equipped with Wi-Fi Internet and printer access.

The Senior Center offers a variety of Wellness Membership packages to best fit your needs.

Wellness Only Membership

For adults 50-59 years old, this Wellness-Only membership includes full access to the Fitness Center, locker room, basketball/pickleball courts, and participation in our ongoing fitness classes at the senior center.

Member Lunch

Lunch:

We offer a variety of nutritious meals for both dine in and curbside carryout. Lunch is served on Mon., Wed., & Fri. at 12:00 p.m. for dine in patrons.

Monthly menus are available to pick up at the Senior Center and on our Elmdale Senior Center Facebook group page.
Member Activities

Coffee and Conversation: Weekly, every Wednesday morning

Every Wednesday morning have coffee with friends as a guest speaker presents an interesting topic at the Senior Center from 11-11:30 a.m. Join the community on Facebook to see the monthly lineup of speakers.

Let’s Dance: Saturday Night Dances (2 dances a month)

Enjoy a night full of fun with our Senior Dances offered twice a month. Each dance will feature LIVE music performed by local bands who are listed below! Pay $6 at the door and dance the night away from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. Join the community on Facebook to see the scheduled monthly dates, and lineup of musical guests!
