The Sand Plum Bicycle Classic offers 14-mile, 25-mile, or 50-mile routes through Reno County, Kansas. This is not a race, but a fun ride for all to enjoy. Ride at your leisure. There is also a 5-mile family route available. Your registration fee includes a t-shirt, snack, and several drink stops along the tour. (T-shirts sizes not guaranteed for registrations received after May 28th). Children under age 14 are welcome to ride. They are not charged a registration fee and they do not receive a shirt.
For 2020 we will be riding a Southwest route through the towns of Arlington, Abbyville, and Partridge. All riders will meet in South Hutchinson at Voss Park for registration and the start of the ride.
Lunch is provided afterward for riders registering for the 14-mile, 25-mile & 50-mile rides.
All riders must wear a helmet. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Friends of the Trail fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation to support the walking/cycling trails in Reno County.
