After-School Program Director

After-School Program Director at Graber: Seasonal Position

The Stay to Play After-School Program Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and daily operation of after-school child care program at Graber Elementary School. Responsibilities include program planning, participant supervision, staff leadership (when additional staff are necessary), and family communication. This program is for youth ages 5-12 years old (kindergarten through 6th grade) and is offered during after-school hours during the school year.

 

Additional Information:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $10-$17/hour, depending on experience
  • Average of 12-15 hours/week, must be available during after-school hours of 3-6p when school is in session
  • Ideal job for current paraprofessionals, aides, and substitute teachers.

Youth + Adult Sports

Hutch Rec is looking for enthusiastic, responsible individuals to work in our Sports Division. See below for specific opportunities.  Hutch Rec will train successful applicants. 

  • Job Title: Site Supervisors
    • Pay Range: $13-16/hour
    • Minimum Age: 18 years old
    • Availability: Various evenings and weekends for youth and adult leagues, tournaments, practices
    • Job Description: Site supervisors open and close the sports facilities while overseeing umpires/officials and communicate with coaches, players, patrons, and officials. Supervisors are responsible for gathering scorecards from each game and keeping the facility clean and safe while it is open.
  • Job Title: Baseball & Softball Rec and Competitive Umpires (Summer)
    • Pay Range: $10-$30/game
    • Minimum Age: 15 years old
    • Availability: Various weeknights in May, June, and July
    • Training: Hutch Rec will provide training for umpires. Knowledge of the game and rules is preferred.
  • Job Title: Sports Facility Maintenance & Custodian
    • Pay Range: $10-$12/hr
    • Minimum Age: 16 years old
    • Availability: Various evenings and weekends for youth leagues and tournaments; from April through July
    • Job Description: Prepare ball fields before and in between games and assist the site supervisor with any maintenance and/or facility cleaning, including cleaning restrooms and trash removal.
  • Job Title: Soccer & Volleyball Rec Officials (Fall & Spring)
    • Pay Range: $10-$25/game
    • Minimum Age: 14 years old
    • Availability: Saturdays in September & October (Fall); April & May (Spring)
    • Training: Hutch Rec will provide training for officials.
  • Job Title: Adult Volleyball and Kickball Officials (Year-Round)
    • Pay Range: $18-$22/game
    • Minimum Age: 18 years old
    • Availability: Weeknights throughout the year
    • Training: Hutch Rec will provide training for officials. Knowledge of the game and rules is preferred.
