REGISTRATION:
Online: Each online registrant will pay the event registration fee plus a processing fee equal fo 5% of the registration fee plus $0.50 with a minimum fee of $2.
Mail or walk in: At any Hutch Rec facility (Downtown Office – 17 East 1st; Elmdale Community Center, 400 East Avenue E; Dillon Nature Center – 3002 East 30th Street)

CANCELLATIONS:
If a program or a class is canceled, we will notify you, and a full refund will be mailed.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Hutch Rec provides scholarships for youth in need due to economic hardship. A Medical Card or proof of free/reduced lunches must be presented to Hutch Rec's Downtown Office at 17 E. 1st when applying for a scholarship. Call 663-6179 for more information.
REFUND POLICY:
Your satisfaction is important to us. Due to program costs, including instructors, supplies, and to help maintain our class minimum, we ask for your cooperation when requesting a fund. Our policy is to provide a full refund or credit, your choice, to anyone who gives us three (3) business days notification prior to the start of class. After that, no refund will be given. Refunds are not given for value/punch cards, season passes, or memberships. Trips, special events, and facility rentals are excluded in our refund policy, as they each have different cancellation policies.
VOLUNTEERS:
Hutch Rec is greatly dependent upon volunteers in all facets of its operation. If you would like to volunteer for any of our programs, please call Hutch Rec at 663-6179.
WAIT LISTS:
Participants who wish to register for activities where capacity enrollment has been reached will go on a wait list. Once space becomes available, participants will be notified.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Children may not attend classes with a parent unless the program is designated as a family activity. Teenagers (13 years and older) are encouraged to sign up for any Hutch Rec class and pay the full fee. Unless otherwise stated, students are responsible for purchasing materials needed for class projects.
PUBLIC SPEAKERS:
A member of the Hutch Rec staff would be happy to speak to your club or organization about recreation opportunities. Call 663-6179 for more information.
COMMISSION MEETINGS:
Starting in January 2011, HRC Commission meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month. Please call (620) 663-6179 for location and time.

Or, contact Amy Conkling at aconkling@hutchrec.com and she will add you to the list. We also offer newsletters for various departments throughout the year. Elmdale 50-Plus Center has a monthly newsletter, while Elmdale Wellness Center, Dillon Nature Center, and Special Populations have seasonal newsletters. All are available to download online, as is Hutch Rec's seasonal Activity Guide.
